Folklore formation “Bulgarka” was established in the summer of 2003. in the city of Varna. Their roster includes a programme with 4 and sometimes up to 8 dancers, a singer, a live bagpipe accompaniment, a drum, a flute, a reed, an accordion and some fun surprises! The repertoire of the Bulgarka Formation is rich and colourful and are sure to impress!
The music and dance programs are accompanied by live musical instruments typical to Bulgaria. For the time since its establishment until now, the formation “Bulgarka” can boast an enviable number of participations and events. All artists – ballet dancers and musicians from the formation “Bulgarka” have extensive experience in the field of Bulgarian folk art. They are dancers, singers and musicians from famous Bulgarian ensembles and orchestras.
